On any given night, an average of 35,000 veterans experience homelessness across the country. We are committed to helping find safe and affordable housing for our nation’s heroes: https://lnkd.in/eZn3TxMAThrough a new $9 million investment, we will work with local and national nonprofit partners to:⚒️ Build or rehab more than 500 units to provide new affordable housing for veterans🏡 Find and secure existing housing for an additional 3,000 homeless veterans💰 Fund landlord incentive programs, a crucial initiative in overcoming the barriers faced by at-risk and homeless veterans in finding sustainable housing📖 Support essential research, studies and training on aging, rural, low-income and disabled veterans, as well as housing trends and specific housing needs
